Asking for Help at School

Think About It!

Whether in middle school, high school, or college, ADDYTeens must know how to communicate with our teachers and advocate for themselves and what resources you might need.

Even in college, I almost always need some type of help or clarification from my professors. In middle and high school, I always asked for help from my teachers.

Just like your sports coach, teachers can help guide you through tough situations and provide you with the skills to make progress on your own time. Will you choose to listen?

TIP: Most everyone hides their ADHD, many are
ashamed to talk about it. Never feel shame about your ADHD, so go get the help you need from your teachers!
