Managing Conflicts

Think About It!

ADDYTeens want to do things their own way – but it may not be the best way objectively speaking. When your family or friends wants you to change your ways, it can lead to conflict and everybody gets annoyed.

There are many situations that put me on edge. I could have a rough day, feel funky after my medicine wears off, or feel stressed about my homework.

Though these things may give me a pretty short fuse, that doesn’t mean that it’s OK to take things out on m friends.

TIP: Even if your friend does say something that makes you mad, you can’t control your friend! But you can control your attitude and actions.

This Set PLAY is detailed in Grace's new book "Winning with ADHD"

Grace gives proven step-by-step instructions for this situation and the most common home-related issues, school problems, coping strategies, peer struggles, and other scenarios which affect ADDYTeens everywhere.
